Just bought my 2012 1500QC about a month ago. I am planning on putting a 2 meter ham radio in. I have the full console with shifter. The radio has a detachable face plate. I plan on putting that in the tray right below the radio stack. Now I need a place to hide the radio itself. I am going direct to the battery with the power cable so I want to keep it as short as possible. I am sure there are many here that have done amps or CB radios so I am looking for suggestions. I did a search and didn't find much with a console.
