Has anyone found a good way to paint the chrome door handles?

Either by using spray pain
Or using decals
Or some sort of plastic cover?

I hate chrome and my 06 sport has chrome door handles and I just hate it with a passion

I bought some black textured door handles, took them apart, sanded them, and had the body shop paint them up. A touch on the expensive side, but they turned out nice

With that said, when I went to install the drivers side, one of the threaded studs snapped—which rendered the whole handle useless. I still have the passenger side but I’m worried it’s going to have the same fate on install

Don’t buy the cheap chinese autozone/oreilly pieces if you go this route. Next time I plan on just going to a salvage yard and picking up an OEM textured handle for 10-15 bucks, clean and sand, then have it painted. Won’t have to deal with any cheap garbage that way

You can also wrap them .... you have to be patient though ....

Or just take them off and paint them .. use a good etching primer
