Have you found it to do as advertised, or is it all smoke and mirrors ?

Dodge/Jeep Module | Stage 1 | Jet Performance ProductsJet Performance Products

Save your money and get yourself a proper programmer. Jet modules do nothing for modifying the actual computer, they just change the values being sent to the PCM by a certain amount which tricks the computer into adding fuel, timing, etc. It's like looking outside and seeing snow on the ground but your deck thermometer is reading 80 degrees, that might be what it sees but sure isn't what it really is. A proper programmer, which doesn't cost much more that that chip, will remap the computer and use the real data it receives to make adjustments as required.

Diablo Intune DCX is what I run, love it so far. Plug in tune unplug or get the diablo trinity if you want extra gauges and a racing light.

SuperChips or Bullydog if you're just looking for a programmer and running their canned tunes. Diablosport is the only one that allows you to get custom tunes based on what mods you have done. Moe's performance sells both the InTune or Trinity with custom Hemifever tune or you can find Jay Greene and get a custom tune through him as well, both are good tuners.

No, I really have no need for extra gauges nor racing light. All I want is good throttle response and the ability to knock out this so called MDS......

If those are your needs then get the DCX InTune.

Yes, I've found that I really don't need much as far as performance wise added to this truck. My next stop will be a tonneau cover and a great way to supplement/replace these poor functioning headlights.

If you don't want a custom tune. You could go with the Superchips or Bullydog. They have good canned tunes and can turn off the MDS

Yes, that is exactly what I am in need of. I've been done that custom tune route with my last two cars. Great to have and really woke both vehicles up. In this instance, all I need is to turn off that MDS, and to have a MORE responsive throttle. I just want to feel that I've got torque lol even if truth be told I don't. :)
