Not saying it can't be done, but the front of my 2014 2500 limited looks a heck of a lot bigger than the front end of my 2012 1500. May just be deceiving because one is lifted and one is lowered.

It was a pain back in the day, haven't looked at the new front ends to see how they changed them.

What are you speaking of, the grill, bumper and hood? If so, I believe it is do-able and has been done. At least the grill/hood. Not sure if the bumper would work on a 1500 though.

The grill and hood should be plug and play have to go together as one (cant interchange 1500 hood w/ 2500 grill and vice versa). As i said IDK about the bumper though. Tow hooks probably wouldnt line up, and not sure about mounting points. Someone else might know though...

If you cant get the bumper on, I dont think any of it would fit together. Since the 1500 has more of a "facia" than an actual bumper as a separate piece.

I swear I saw a guy on one of the Ram forums who did this to his 1500 though, bumper and all.

There was a couple guys who I believe have done it on here...their threads are wayyy buried though lol

I googled it earlier and the guys who did it said you had to have custom brackets and weld on some pieces. They also needed a dollar beneath the lights. My google search was “2500 bumper on 1500 Ram” should bring up the threads.

There was someone on here that did this. Wrecked the truck and swapped the front end during the repair.
