head unit option

currently have 430 rbz touchscreen in my 2011 ram sport. I would like to upgrade to something with navigation and a backup cam if possible,

what are my best options to keep oem functionality,

also as far as the back up cam goes are the wires there or would i have to run them.

For your year I would use some thing that has the capability to integrate the idatalink maestro, this will retain most to all Oem functionally and more. Kenwood was the first to partner with idatalink maestro but pioneer and alpine also have that capability now to. To be clear I am speaking of 2 different pieces. One the radio and two the maestro integration piece. Check them out it is exactly what you need.

you have to run it. all a camera wires consist of are a power and ground and video rca cable. you can actually get the ground and the reverse light wire right at the 7pin trailer harness. then you only need to run the rca cable.


its actually really easy to wire it. just make sure you use plenty of zip ties to make sure it doesnt fall.
