I have a 2008 Ram 5.7 that has 96K miles on it. I'm looking at installing some Longtube headers with catless y pipes.. Has anyone ran across bolts breaking off in the heads?

Usually not after the headers are installed. When you get the headers they will also include new (and better) header bolts.

Yeah the stock manifold bolts are very prone to breaking off. Try using a torch to heat the bolt and then using a drill extractor bit. Also try welding a nut on the end of the bolt stud. Applying heat helps to loosen the steel bolt from the aluminum head from the different reactions to the heat
