Headers question??

I was looking for a set to get for my 4.7 and I saw the JBA cat4ward shorty headers but they say that they are for off road use only and not emissions legal.

Does that just mean I wouldn't pass e-check or what?

There doesn't seem to be many options to pick from so I'm just trying to get some info.

Does your state do a CARB certified check? If they do a check on all modifications to make sure they are CARB parts then they will not pass. if its just a visual inspection and a sniffer test then it should be fine.
