Headlight swap

Will headlights from a 2012 1500 sport fit my 2014 1500 sport and function properly? Asking cause I though 2013-2018 were all the same…???

All the headlights fit between all the Gen4 trucks.
If your '14 has projector headlights, I'm pretty sure the '12 model year didn't have projector headlights. The plug is different on projectors from the reflector style, and the 2016 and later projectors use 9005 bulbs in both High and low beams.

If you have dual or quad reflectors and they are dual or quad reflectors they should plug in fine. The only change between dual or quad is programming (cutting out the low beam when engaging highs with dual) which can be updated with AlphaOBD or JScan.
