Thank god I have fog lights cause my headlights don't put out much light
Anyone else notice this too?
This is on my 2012 big horn
I think the may be aimed to high so they aren't putting light to the road

You could also try switching your fog light bulbs to 9005's.... Those are meant to be high beam headlight bulbs and put out alot more light and use the stock plug/housing

Yes the stock lights really suck. I went to the master JJ and got his with projectors and custom paint job.

I'm hoping the new 2013 projectors in the Sport on up are better...

True story . I always turn off the autolamp so I don't shine my lights into the neighbors window while warming up the truck in the morning. This morning for some unknown reason I turned the switch right instead of left. Drove all the way to work with just the fogs & didn't even notice. Headlight upgrade will be my 2nd mod.

I noticed the same with mine 2500, and I plan on adding the silver star upgrade from Auto zone. I have done it with each of my vehicles and it they work great! Bright but not offensive. Great horizontal coverage. Also work well in winter conditions.

Yes sir, I got some cheap Walmart ones ($8 each I think) for now just to see if it worked and they definitely make a difference

found the Phillips ones, ( supposed to be the best) for like $11.00 each on ebay...may need to try a set :D

actually was the 9115's, 55w, supposed to be better, but NOT as good as 9005

I've been following this thread and have a question. I found some 9145(original fog lamp bulb) that are rated at 100W on Ebay. Do you think these would help throw some more light? My concern is that they may produce too much heat. I think the original bulbs are rated at 45 or 55 watts. I can't seem to find the rating online. Thanks!

just tried the 9005 in the fogs, holy crap! I could easily tell the difference even in the day and with the lights dirty! Can't wait till it gets dark so i can test the output

I had some 9005's in my tool box so i put them in there and there is a pretty good difference, it makes the headlights look like a joke
I still think they are ajusted to high

Yup the stock bulbs are being upgraded till i have the cash for a JJ special. The fogs now are brighter, way better side to side, reach farther, just in every better than the lows, and the highs only reach a little farther than the fogs now

I picked up some 9005s and gonna put them in this morning. Any way to adjust the fogs while I'm there? I know the one is higher than the other.
