Well i have coolant or some sort of liquid coming inside my ramcharger and also the glasses fog up when i turn on the air conditioner or heater..
my question is should i replace heater core or use the advertised products that are suppose to stop situations like this..My mechanic cost to replace the part is approximately 350.00...
Also could it be something else causing this problem..

does it smell like coolant from the vent? if you need heat i would definitely say replace it if it is leaking. that sealant that in a can seems like a good idea but it will likely seal up more than just the wholes in cooling system. it can possibly block of the heater core or rad so you will get less or no heat and could possibly cause the truck to run hotter especially if you got the original rad that likely has its good share of calcium built up in it by now.
