I have 2 ram 1500s' a 2013 and a 2019. Neither has a heater that will put out enough heat to keep people warm when the outside temps are low (like 0 to -20 degrees). Both have hot thermostats.
Any suggestions other than covering the radiator completely with cardboard?

Have never seen -20 in my north jersey world, but have -2 or -4 F here. Might take a little not time but, the heat does make my quad cab toasty warm .

What's the coolant temperatures of the engines? There has been a few reported plugged heater cores on the '13-'14 trucks but those are usually HD trucks

Instead of cardboard, you can use the winter front for the EcoDiesel on your '13 and '19. If the '19 is a Classic it's the same part#: 82213959AC There is one available for the Gen5 DT body trucks also.
