heating issues

Son got a 2001 ram 1500 5.9l a few weeks ago. I immediately go thru all fluids and filters, etc. Now that its getting colder, i see that it blows cold air only. Going down the road air comes thru defrost vents and cold when fan is off.
Thermostat has been changed when antifreze switched, not sure what is really going on if it is just a "door" open or other..... any help??

read up on heater treater blend door fix for these and wild or crazy vents.. that should help you get a basic knowledge of whats going on

I wouldn't just throw the parts at it I mean yes it needs to be done but check the symptoms first.. and No problem ..welcome to RF
