Are you talking about the mass airflow sensor, or something else? If it is just the sensor I'm not sure how it would be considered a "mod".

They must keep em next to the stick on hood scoops and fake vents too.

I actually looked them up, they look pretty similar in design too. I thought maybe less restriction or something but nope.

Leave the MAF sensor alone, unless U like trouble codes, just saying... And it will not improve a thing, not even (1) HP, LOL...

MAF... no.

But a MAP sensor can be a great help!!

For instance, on my old evo the stock MAP sensor was something like 2bar.. but when i slapped on a big snail, and had everything set up to run 45Psi i needed more MAP sensor, because it would max out. so you can only adjust fueling/timing etc so much.

Slapped in a 4bar MAP sensor, and that gave me a broader reference to be able to adjust everything else.

I think these trucks only run on a MAF sensor though. Unless you have a Diesel. They probably have a MAP sensor. lol.

I eat it and run plus. It makes mine run a lot better. Its running me 47.00 from a half a tank. I know the pain with filling them up.

Thats funny you say that. I have been driving mine for over 5 years now. Bought it brand new. Just crested 50k miles, and my last few tanks have been reading over 15 mpg. I dont think I have ever seen it much over 12.5-13. Very odd. Although i havnt been driving like such a ******** lately bahahahahah. Im sure that has something to do with it.

ive got a rough country 4.5" lift on top of the factory pw lift, 37" m/t on 20" wheels and octane front and rear bumpers. i was getting 14mpg if i was lucky on the highway in south GA. i now live in middle TN and saw 16mpg on the display. i stay around 15mpg now. dont know what happened, but holy **** im happy lol.

I’ve never had an issue running unleaded in small engines. Everyone wants to buy non ethanol gas for em. I just use stabil and I’ve never had an issue.
