Hi folks. I'm new here but am a member of a few other Ram forums. I have a 2002 Ram 1500, 4.7 with 173,000 miles on it. It has been a good truck for the 3 some odd years I have owned it. I recently had to have the rear end rebuilt on it due to a failed pinion and carrier bearing. Currently wondering what the difference in axles is between 02 and 03 as there are different gear oil weights specified between those years for the rear diff, so if anyone knows the answer to that or has an idea I would appreciate the input. Otherwise I am here to learn more and help out where I can as I do most of my own work. Thanks for having me.

you will slowly stop using those other forums and just this one lol. I use the 75w90 royal purple on my 03 with. No issues
