2015 Laramie longhorn, bought new and changed oil myself with full synthetic 5w20 every 4500, and of course bad lifter at 105k. Going with jasper crate with mds delete, and they do upgrade the roller bearings in lifters. Good/bad idea? Thanks all

Have heard not good things re Jasper rebuild quality.

You can buy a Mopar non-MDS crate engine for $5k. You will need an unlocked PCM in your '15, and since your failure appears catastrophic, a new intake manifold should be used as well.

If your truck is still in good shape body-wise, still much cheaper than buying a used, similar mileage/conditioned truck, IMO.
