New owner here white 09 SLT 5.7L. Wanted to say howdy to all and look forward to learning and sharing thoughts.

Reading through some of the post. Thought it might be neat to see what other consider top mods to start with. Some I’m looking into are:

Step Bars (wife doesn’t like jumping in)
Leveling kit (not sure on brand yet)
Wheels and all terrain tires (probably 33’s)
Bull bar
Looking for the post on unlocking the DVD touch screen while driving (so kids can watch it)
Maybe the my gig lock pick need to read more about it and see what it would enable for me. Right now I just have the touch screen and voice recognition. No sat TV or cameras.
I’m sure more will come but those are to start.

Going with a black out theme against the white so interested in pics of others with white.

Welcome to RF! I have the MyGig LockPick. It works pretty good and nice to have the camera options if you want to add them later and also has inputs for additional screens for the backseat.

How do I know what the Lock Pick will unlock? I read another post that confused me on whether it would be beneficial to purchase it. Will it provide Nav and the camera (assuming I buy a camera) or with my unit since those options are not offered does it just unlock the DVD?

HBS looks like a pretty solid leveling kit. I'll try to get that order in today.

If you don't already have the NAV, then no it won't provide the NAV. It does have video inputs for cameras - rear and front - if you want to ad those later. They are fairly cheap to pick up I believe.

Here is the website with more information, but I picked mine up from ebay for a better price. I'd just make sure you get v4 which is the latest one.

Welcome and might I suggest the Hovercraft mod by Neoteric. Converts your wheels into fansand then you will need to install an inflatable tube around your truck. This enables you to literally hover over water or flat smooth surfaces. Good luck.

Search must be broken I couldn't find that one. LOL

Thanks all.

Installed the step bars and Bull bar tonight. I'll post pics tomorrow.
