Hello, All,

Just leased my first Dodge truck - a 2015 RAM 1500 Crew Cab Big Horn in Maximum Steel with the 5.7 395 HP Hemi! I had a 212 Sierra with a 5.3. The RAM blew me away! Better ride, power, smoothness, options, paint, etc. I hope it's reliable too.

I'll add a few pics of my new ride here..

Need to made some adds to this truck.

I'll build a custom power side steps for my handicapped wife. May take some used flat running boards off ebay and weld up some power brackets.

I'll convert a Bakflip G2 tonneau from the Sierra to the RAM by shaving off side and end a little to fit.

I'll possible add HID and rope led lights in front, and improved fogs.

I need a backup camera but factory one is too much, so will add a new Pyle small camera and lcd I purchased a while back.

Need to add a brake controller for my travel trailer. The truck has a factory hitch. I'll add a cheapie crap Reese temporarily, then get the factory one eventually.

The factory stereo sounds great. Ill add a brand new Rockford Fosgate enclosed sub and Fosgate amp I never used. I'll cut and customize the box to fit, and tap into the rear speaker connections for input.

I'd like to buy inexpensive but authentic looking perforated faux leather in dark grey or black and make some seat covers both front and back, or get some from Amazon if the price is right.

I'm adding a dashcam, Garmin Voice activated GPS and iPad to the dash area, stealth, without any permanent holes so it's easily removable if I decide not to buy the truck at the end of the lease.

I want to add chrome side mirror caps, chrome window and hood deflectors and a nice chrome lit RAM hitch cover, as well as a LED light bar underneath the liftgate.

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. I will share my upgrades on this site.

Any personal experience with reliability after four years would be appreciated too!

Thanks in advance.

Jim
