I have a 2022 Ram 1500 now but I have also owned a 2010 (my first) and a 2017, all good trucks and all 3 had a 5.7. Great engine and great truck, not a problem with any of them.

INSURE OP when you replace coolant, use PROPER COOLANT.Remove the heater hoses from the engine and flush in both directions several times or until clear running.
Use our search function to look up Rmi25 , it should help get things cleaner.
I'm also from Nova Scotia..I have a 2017 ram 1500 and having heat problems inside the cab..today I'm doing a complete rad flush and putting new antifreeze and thermostat in..hoping I can get more heat
Hope this sint a stupid question..but if the outside of the heater core is dirty with debris..would that give me less heat in the cab?As Daw14 mentioned, pull heater core hoses and backflush the heater core until the water runs clear.
RMI-25 is a fantastic solution that many members have had great success with cleaning crud from the coolant system.
Use the search utility in the upper-right corner for tips on flushing and RMI-25.
And, welcome to Ram Forum to both you and @bearbait04 .

I have lots of air..Just no heatIt would reduce air-flow….which MAY increase the temp of the air exiting the core…but not be helpful if the cabin is suffering from low air flow. (Behave similar to having the fan-speed set Low.)
Why Do you suspect your core air-flow is blocked? Do you have a cabin air filter ? Have you replaced it recently?
Here’s a pic of what I found when I changed my wifes cabin-air filter. (mice/rodents love to seek a cozy spot to nest
