Good to hear, I read some reviews that weren't great saying while it's larger diameter it's thinner wall tubing? They were less than impressed. Can't recall where - another forum, or maybe amazon review, not sure. I'll be adding rear coils soon and will prob do this at same time.

Stock rear bar is tubular and smaller. Hellwig bar is larger and SOLID. Not even close to that fake news review.

This is correct. The Hellwig bar makes the OEM bar feel like a toy....no comparison. Whoever said it was thin does't know what they're talking about. I didn't weigh the Hellwig bar but I bet it's twice as heavy as the stock bar.

Been thinking about one myself. How hard was install? I want a red one . Wonder if they come powder coated red.

They only come in the standard grey, but I emailed Hellwig earlier this year and asked them about having it powder coated a different color and they told me there was no problem with doing so.

Hey thanks for the response.
They (hellwig) can have it done before they send it to u . Or they said it doesn’t effect the performance in doing ?

The latter. I asked them if it would be ok if I had a local shop powdercoat it another color and they said no problem.

Got mine from Auto Truck Toys....only because they were running a 20% discount. Picked it up for $211.00. Lots of places carry them though.

Is the Hellwig a replacement or an add on?

It is an add on for single cab trucks.

I put mine on last year, super easy DIY. Middle setting, butt plants nice now. Also put on McGhaughy's 2" rear drop springs at the same time.

Along with the Hellwig sway bar, I also upgraded the sway bar links with Moog. Using the inner hole, my Ram is firmly planted to the asphalt with almost no sway. As others have said this is an excellent upgrade and should be first or second on the mod list.

You'll want PN: 7709 if you don't have a lift.

Part number for the Moog links, K'Nut? While I have the nice adjustable models from Hellwig, my Hellwig bar always made a clunking noise with 'em...I swapped back to the stock links you've pictured on the left and no more noise. Maybe the Moogs will be quiet!
