Hellwig Sway Bar

Installed a Hellwig rear sway bar on my 2018 Ram yesterday. Wow, what a difference it made in handling. I was a bit skeptical that I would notice any difference, but could tell immediately that the rear end felt more planted. I put it in the middle hole and I think it's perfect. Very impressed. The OEM sway bar feels like a toy compared to the solid steel Hellwig. Highly recommend the upgrade.

Install was very easy, even for me. Took about 45 mins. That included finding my tools, swaping out sway bars and putting everything away.

Only took it out for a short drive but the rear end is much more planted now. I'm expecting it to perform much better over bumps in regards to side to side rocking.

I set mine in the middle position. Seems just right.

Yeap middle for me as well, very happy with it set there big difference over stock IMO.

Good to hear, I read some reviews that weren't great saying while it's larger diameter it's thinner wall tubing? They were less than impressed. Can't recall where - another forum, or maybe amazon review, not sure. I'll be adding rear coils soon and will prob do this at same time.

The Hellwig is for sure no question about it heavier than the stock one so it being thinner is not true.

For what it is worth. First Hellwig sway bar for my 86 Dodge Ramcharger. Had two more since. Always impressed with quality and the difference they make in handling and ride.
