HELP!! Center console USB doesnt work

Hey guys, I have a 2013 with the flip down center console. I tried using the usb a few months ago and it worked. Now finally bought a usb stick and added a bunch of music to it but the usb quit working on me. When i install the usb drive it feel really flimsy when sitting in the slot. It doesnt light up when plugged in and the radio says no media device. It is the base model 3.0 radio which i think is garbage in the first place doesnt even have bluetooth in it when you can go out and buy base model carola's for 13g's with bluetooth. Anyways enough ranting for now. Does anyone know what my problem could be? I have a feeling that something inside the console or behind the head unit got loose. If anyone with any knowledge on how this stuff works can give me some sort of info on trouble shooting or anything to help resolve this it would be greatly appreciated!

Unless you have something in the usb port blocking the connections, you probably have a loose connection. Like you stated.

You could try pushing in the connectors on the radio and on the usb port.

If it still under warranty take it in and let them deal with it.

i would guess you broke the connection in the armrest. The connector in the back is pretty beefy i don't see it coming loose from head unit without some muscle. Time to use that warranty!

Yeah I'm thinking it came loose. Its hard for me to get to the dealership and was hoping I could access the wiring inside the fold down armrest compartment. Any clue how I get in there?
