Help finding quick strut

I bought the repair manual for the Ram 1500. And I feel somewhat confident / crazy enough to undertake changing the squeaking strut on my own. But I cant for the life of me find a suitable quick strut, i am not trying lift the truck.

TLR; I got a ram 1500 2013 v6 crew cab 4x4 big horn, can I get some help finding a few options for quick struts?

Moog vs Gabriel? I never heard of these guys which one should i get?

Moog has been around forever and well known for producing bushings. I've never heard of Gabriel but I'm sure someone here has.

Both are quality brands but i’d get the Moog between the two.... but that just cuz i’ve always used Moog when possible.

Ok im getting the Moog. Is there anything else i should get to change these out?

Get some penetrating oil and start soaking the bolt that runs through the control arm about a week before you are ready to replace the struts. I hear they are known to seize up. Lol.

Other than that, a complete strut assembly is pretty easy to swap out.

The code worked and i got the part coming in a few days. Do you think there any tutorials out there for a diyer like me? I got the repair manual. but any other resources i could look at?

I'd check you tube. There has got to be a video of someone replacing a strut on a ram in there somewhere.

Unbolt the upper ball joint. Use a long pry bar against the lower strut mount to get it in & out. Unbolt the top of the sway bar end link to pry the control arm down further if needed.

Other than that, pretty straight forward.
