so just turning it on let it run for a bit and repeat?

Start it, drive it for like 10 minutes, shut it down, repeat. The length of drive doesn't really affect it as much as just the number of key cycles. I tried the long drive method and was not nearly as effective as key cycles.

Drive it and enjoy it. You worked hard to get it running, now it's time to drive it. Worst case, you have to get it towed again.

Wanting to die at the stop is normal at first. Just keep going through the key cycles and it will learn.

So when you going to give it a good shakedown to see what it can do?

Like I said hit a muffler shop and see if they have any O2 **** plugs that come on some of the Magnaflow cats, and/or an old O2 sensor, or even a non-fouler and have someone throw some weld in it to plug the little hole in the end.
