Sooooo, I obviously have a leak. Antifreeze on the carpet, whole 9 yards. Can anyone please provide some guidance on an attempted fix? I tried two pourable sealants already but to no avail. K-Seal & Bar’s Leaks 2 part formula. Still leaking....

Or am I screwed & should consult a mechanic?

your going to have to address that the right way unfortunately. don't use any more sealants. they are horrible for your cooling system.

most vehicles require removing the dash to replace the heater core

you'd think some smart engineer could come up with something better to have to change that

Yep....dash has to be partially removed. It's not a super difficult job but it certainly is time consuming. Fortunately, Ram dashed are not the most complicated to remove. The heater core is about $100 or so, but the labor at a dealership is around $800++....

It is certainly a DYI project if you have some mechanical ability and a few tools...Good luck.
