help starting an engine

I bought a 99 dodge frame yesterday complete with 5.9 engine , tranny and rear end. the cab was used on another truck. so all I have is the engine wiring harness. It was unplugged at the fire wall and It does have the computer. any one know how I could wire that up enough just to get it started to see if the engine really is any good ?

I don't think it's going to start without the wires to fuel pump and neutral safety switch. You can wire around all that but it's best to get another harnesses. Roll motor over by hand look at plugs inspected inside of all manifolds ex&int. Its fairly simple to see signs of major engine failure. If it turned over odds r it runs.
