Help with 2012 Grand Cherokee antenna mast removal

Was wondering if anyone has any insight on how to remove the antenna mast from a 2012 GC. I bought a sharkfin antenna to replace the long mast and am not sure how it comes off. Thanks for any help!

Haha...figured it out. You just unscrew the mast. Mine was a bit tight ( I know, I know...that's what she said ) so I had to take pliers to it. What a *******!
