2018 3500 c&c. 235k. I replaced this truck with a new one for one of my work crews. So I started driving this one some. I bought jscan to do some headlight work. I ran the codes and came up with a few.

I don’t know how long the cel has been on. I don’t know how the truck ran prior to me driving it. I do know that I seems to run problem free, but sometimes pulling a load, 16k, it feels kinda flat. Weaker than I would expect. The only work done on the truck is it is deleted.

Codes

P0113
U010C
P0607-00

P0113 means a out of range signal from the IAT (intake air temperature). An incorrect reading can change the way the engine is running (for example, if it thinks it's colder than it actually is it will change the amount of fuel and stuff it's providing to the engine.
U010C is a loss of communication to the turbo controller
P0607 indicates an issue with the ECM.
- Just because there is a code showing in the system does not mean it's active.
- This does not mean to run out and start swapping out sensors
If it's not running obviously bad I would probably clear the codes, drive it, and see what codes may come back. For the IAT if JScan has live data maybe look up and see what the IAT thinks it is at.

I’m showing active for 0113 and 010c

Permanent for 010c

Stored for 0607

Cleared them and came back immediately

Not sure if the 0113 and 010c codes are related or not.
If you can take a look at the live data and see what the IAT is reading. If it's completely off line you will probably get a crazy temperature reading that is obviously wrong. Not sure if the turbo controller directly reads the IAT signal or not, or if the IAT signal runs through the turbo controller directly.
For the turbo controller, see if you can read any parameters related to the turbo with live data (boost pressure, wastegate actuator, etc...). I'm not that familiar with the Cummins though.

Live data is showing the intake charge temp at -40°F

That’s probably not right. Lol

Changed the iat with no change

Can anyone explain to me the exhaust brake - tow/haul relationship. Empty and flat, I see about 18hp on the exhaust brake. Loaded with 16k, tow/haul on, I don’t see anything on the exhaust brake. Just downshifting to help slow down.

im also now getting a p2509.

the p0607-00 is gone.
