HELP with engine

I am not a car savy person, so I need help in trying to fugure out what might be wrong.

I have a 2007 Ram 1500 Quad Cab with the 4.7L V8. While driving, the engine revs up and the RPMs increase, then it comes back to normal. Does anyone have clue as to what might the root cause of this problem? I had the fuel sensor changed a year ago, last time this happened.

Sounds like maybe a faulty tps or tranny slip someone else who knows more will chime in

Is it also gaining MPH when it revs or no?
