Hey guys I have a 2016 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 with the stock 20s and I am buying a rough country 2.5" leveling kit for it. Now I'm wondering what size tires I should get. I was thinking of getting 33x12.50 for the stock 20s but I'm wondering if they would look small? Can I fit 35x12.50? Will I need spacers till I can buy different rims?

Some/most 12.50’s will hit the UCA ... Look at 295/60R20

Do you have sport 20’s?
I have the Bilstein level and I have Sport 20’s and my 35’s fit fine. Only rubbing is full lock on the inner fender splash guard.

Which rough country kit? That is a giant factor in this equation

Anything that specs to 12.1” wide on the factory 20x9 will fit without spacers. Do your research.........(my 35x12.50 AT3 XLT’s fit but a 35x12.50 Toyo MT won’t).

though if only going 2.5” I’d stick to the 285/65, 295/60 or 296/65 but that just one mans worthless opinion.

Best thing you can do is get the level, because you’re going to get it anyway and have the tire shop test fit the fronts. That’s what mine did for me. They showed me exactly where it would rub. Only place was on the driver side, there’s a little bulge that sticks out on the splash guard. Control arms cleared, no problem.

I'm looking at purchasing this kit here. I want to retain some rake to the truck for when I'm towing my boat and other toys.c92cae13cf88fb3bb8dcfbafd5f8dea8.jpg

I have the same only in black. I have the Firestone MT/2’s in 35/20r/12.50’s.
They fit fine, no rubbing on control arms, no wheel spacers. They’ll stick out about an inch from fenders. image.jpg

those are preload spacers to go between the front coil and strut top hat. I would highly advise against them. We won’t install them at our shop even if a customer has already bought them. The squeaks and chirps and owner complaints are not worth it. it’s the same labor to do the install on a higher quality kit. I suggest doing Bilsteins with a tgc spacer in the rear. Would only be $200 more and priceless in the aggravation it will save you. My shop is a suspension shop so that’s literally all we do I’m not a mechanic that is going to change a water pump talking about lifts and levels

I am going the route your suggesting here. What setting do you recommend putting the Bilstein 5100s at. 2.1/2.8? And what size space in the rear? I did buy some zone off road UCA because I would like to go the 2.8 route. I think ultimately, I am unsure what size spacer the rear would need to get it as level as possible.

If you set the front at 2" you won't need a rear spacer.
If you set it at 2.8" you will want a 1" rear spacer.
