So I’ve been having trouble with my truck recently . It’s a 2015 1500 5.7. The truck will run perfectly for a couple days then next morning it is completely dead. I put jumper cables on to the terminals and it powers back on with out another vehicle. I had battery and alternator test and both are good. Yesterday truck didn’t die but I had low voltage electronic brake light and traction control light come on. I have video but can’t post it for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance!

I know you had the battery test good but how old is it? Batteries don’t last past 4 years. Is there a difference in where you park or how you park every night?? Just wondering if when you park it, if a wire(s) might be shorting out somehow and draining the battery when you park a certain way??? Did it rain the nights that you came out to a low battery in the morning? How are the battery cables and grounds?

Replace the battery, happens at work all the time. They will test ok but they aren’t. Past 4 or 5 years it’s time.

Even if it doesn’t solve the issue you were going to probably need a new one anyway.

I would assume it’s stock bought it used with 30k miles last year. I have an aftermarket remote start from compustar installed right after I bought it. And I put a rough country light bar on about 2 months ago so that could be my problem but I had it on for 2-3 weeks before this started to happening. I’m gonna buy a battery after work and hope that works.

After replacing the battery, have the local auto parts store check your alternator just to play it safe.

i have a 2014 express 1500. last year, same thing happened. my battery was dead. tested that it was good, they wanted to sell me a new alternator... long story short, it's been a year with a new battery, no problems since.
