Came across a set of 17 inch **** cepek dc1 s for 500$ off a 2001 dodge ram 1500..... my question is will they fit on my 2002 and what's the width of the factory wheels

The width of the factory wheels are 7". They should fit if they were already on another Dodge. Unless the previous owner had a lift and went with a lot of backspacing to have them stick out

They should fit. There was a certain year in 2nd gens that they changed the hub or something like that to what is currently used

Edit: 2wd 2nd gen have to mess with the hub area to fit a 3rd gen wheel. 4wd 2nd gen don't. So just flip that around for your case I would guess
