HELP!

can anyone tell me what this is for..I cannot find it in any diagram...its the front ds where the spring goes..it looks like some type of leveler or something ..my problem started with broken end links..the stock ones seems too short and the broken one had some type of extension on it that caused the sway to pitch up and the stock one causes sway pitch too low..

Sway bar end link, the long one looks like it's for a lift kit. SuspensionMaxx makes a slighly longer version for levelled trucks, not sure what lift you have if any. And that is a ton of rust.

You want the bar to be parallel with the ground.

Use the second shorter link,you can add a few washers under the lower washer and rubber bushing at the top of the link to bring the bar up slightly,as it's been pointed out you want the bar fairly close to level,but it's not a huge deal if it's slightly off kilter
