I bought and RBZ for my '12 bighorn to replace my RES, so I've plugged it all in and got nothing, no power no nothing. Did I get stuffed?

It's possible that's the theft deterrent system kicking in and needs a code put in to unlock it.

I'd prefer to not disclose and retain what little dignity I have.

Would disconnecting it make it work? Or does connecting it?

Ok but seriously, I unplug the battery, I've done everything I can think of and this thing won't turn on. What's a guy to do. I got not off eBay and is it possible I got screwed?

I thought you got it fixed.... I'd check all the connections on the back of the radio and make sure they are all the way in.

Ya I forgot to hook up the battery, that's when I said I was an idiot, then I ran out if time to post back on here. The ad said high speed, is it possible it could be a low speed one?

I'm in the same boat as you are.. Mine is made in 2012, same month as the truck, actually, but nothing.. Plug my base POS back in and everything works, but the new one won't even flicker. Let me know if you figure this out.

No personal experience in the matter, but in reading other threads it seems you need the VIN from the truck it came off of. Thats the code you. Its an anti theft feature.

It doesn't ask for a code.. Doesn't do anything, that's the weird part about it. If it asked for a code, I could understand

Cancel that, I think I may have figured it out. I googled the model number and that pulls up a 2013 Compass. Apparently, the Compass is a low speed bus, so I guess I'm screwed. Maybe that's the same problem you're having? All I know is, that whole low-speed/high-speed thing is just a little rediculous
