Had a K&N CAI but just to noisy for me when WOT so tossed on the stock but now it's sluggish again. :(

My S&B CAI is waiting for my at the UPS place and grabbing it tomorrow at 8am, should have it on before the weekend is over!

I like to give my wife panic attacks when the hemi foot comes out. Lol

I took my uncle for a drive last summer... Poor guy.
Had some dude linger in my blind spot but wouldn't actually pass me, so naturally you know what I did next. I think my uncle pooped a little.

I caught Hemi Foot before I even had my Ram. My Trailblazer was in it's favorite place, my mechanics garage. So while the bowtie was beating up my wallet my dad gave me the keys to his '07 Big Born. This truck is a weekend warrior since the old man drives his Subie during the week to save on gas. Since this truck doesn't see the road as much as it should I knew she wanted to run. I hop in and head down the road I go to make a right and I see a guy out in his driveway messing with his F-150. So as soon as I make the turn I let the big dog eat. It breaks loose and kicks sideways so I left the tail wag the whole way up the street in a cloud of smoke. I can only imagine how sad that guy felt when he looked back at his Ford.

Now for the people who might be upset for me burning up dads tires he already had new ones on order. I just wish I could get him to put a proper exhaust on his truck that single pipe just doesn't cut it.

There is no doubt Hemi's need to breathe, with the Mufflex delete and the reso delete it's more of a Roar....
It's noticed when Harley's give you the thumbs up at the amount of decibels singing threw the air.
Hemi Foot, though my not be curable is a curse I enjoy to live with.

Just wondering, is Hemi Foot considered a disease or an addiction?? ;)

I just want to know where I need to go for retreatment once I have smoked all the Chevys and Fords in my town! Lol

I've got about 4k miles on my 2014 now and while I usually drive relatively mildly (with regards to throttle), I have been putting the throttle down a lot more in the last few weeks. As soon as my "free" 6k oil change/service is completed, I am installing long tube headers and getting a Hemi Fever tune.

What I'm really looking forward to though is getting my "Yamaha 5.0l foot" back. I'll probably put insurance back on my ISF in a week or so and bring her out of hibernation. The sound she makes with when the secondary intake opens up at 3600 RPM gives me goosebumps, especially with the Sikky headers and Borla exhaust. It sounds like the sick love child of a muscle car and a Ferrari.

I had a guy come by me weaving in and out of traffic like he was in a hurry. Red Challenger... I told my wife if we were beside each other at the light up ahead it was on. All the cars in front of us parted like the red sea. Well the light turned green and we both eased up, him first then me. Then I SMACKED it. I assumed he had a Hemi cause we were neck & neck until a car pulled out in front of me and it was all over. My wife was ******** and my son in the back seat was saying weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee the whole time. Saw the car a few days later and the guy driving was like 80 or so

My wife gives the "look" every time I stomp on it.

My response is always (Said in the style of Timmy on Southpark)

Hemmeh!

Ah yes the infamous "look" from the wife.

I traded in a Mustang GT Convertible plus my previous truck, a Nissan Frontier for my Ram. I needed a bigger truck and with a family and house to take of now, I just didn't have much time for the Mustang anymore. Plus the insurance on the Mustang was obscene. My wife was all proud of me for growing up so to speak.

After I got my Ram I showed her how much power it had. The "look" she gave me was simply priceless.

Hemi395, on another note, how do you like the 24" mufflex? Would you do it again, or go for one of the shorter ones?

I love mine. Its exactly what I wanted, louder than stock but not obnoxious. It does drone on the highway in MDS around 65-75 which is why I'm glad I didn't go with the 18" or 14". Its not overbearing or anything, you can still have a conversation just fine. When you get on it though, you know its got exhaust. Driving normally around town its got a nice tone but again, its not obnoxious.

It all really depends on what you want. I came from a Mustang GT with 2 Flowmaster 40 single chambers on it. It had a BAD drone on the highway and I would have angry neighbors if I started it up before 7am. So for my Ram I wanted something a little quieter on the vehicle I'm going to be driving my family around in. If you want some volume definitely go with the 18" or 14" or even the delete kit. My buddy has the Solo Exhaust kit and it's a little louder than mine to the point where I'm glad I got the Mufflex 24".

I think the Mufflex 24 has the image of being too quiet. For some people this maybe true. For me, it fit the mold perfectly. I highly recommend it.

It's a severe problem for me! I'm just now coming up on 1000 miles and can't even count the number of times it's been WOT and 6000+ rpm shifts!
Probably not the best thing to do to my engine and trans. I'm starting to grow up and not act like a teenager in dad's cuda. Hopefully I haven't done any damage thus far :help:

I'm not one to use someone's phrases…but "hemi foot" is perfect…and gets a silly giggle from me every time I think about it.

I'm used to small cars and this truck is large for me…as in large I mean it feels slow when you're driving it. Countless times I've found myself speeding unintentionally because it doesn't "feel" like I'm going 35, 45, 55, whatever. My wife commented on my lead foot the other day and I borough up "hemi foot".

I've had some pretty fast cars in my day (modified '03 Cobra, modified '04 GTO, modified '08 Mazdaspeed 3) and somehow, I speed worse in the Ram than any of them (except for the Cobra possibly, with over 600HP, that thing would put the fear of God in people).

I was posted up with some friends tonight and "HEMI FOOT" ended up kicking in when we went out cruising lol I out ran 2 Chevy trucks tuned by 2-3 truck lengths ... They asked who I was tuned by I told them it's just a Hemi with no tune and a HEMI FOOT that handed them their ass haha
