I usually drive my truck pretty easy in the 3,500 miles I've had it.

This morning I couldn't resist though.

While merging onto the Thruway I had a V8 Land Rover about 2 feet off my rear bumper. I was already moving about 60mph too.

As soon as we reached the end of the on ramp onto an empty Thruway he came around me to the middle lane to pass.

I stayed even with him a few moments as we accelerated up to around 80mph just make sure he was going for it. The whole time I was next to him I kept smiling at him.

Then I dropped the pedal and opened the Hemi as I waved goodbye to him.

It was fun watching him in the mirrors, and a nice reminder of why I own a Hemi Ram. There aren't many stock vehicles that will pull you if your willing.

I had Hemi foot last night testing out the Vararam. I hear its easy to catch in the spring time when mods start going on. I think the cure is 2 tanks of gas and call off in the morning, lol.

When my back seat was out for stereo install stuff, the exhaust was WAY more notable. I caught HemiFoot BAD then. Now that it's all together, I don't notice it near as much.

I've been able to drive my truck pretty mellow with few exceptions. A mufflex kit would change that fast. I'm afraid to get it. LOL

I cure my Hemi foot by smoking a chevy or a ford, and then a camel light!

How is the Vararam treating you??? I wish I could change my Volant for a Vararam... But Volant is CARB (california emissions b.s.) certified and California smog checks won't pass me without it. Grrrrr

I have a saying, that if you are not in my truck you are a pedestrian, so get the hell out my way. My foot and pedal have an auto-slam feature that engages when connected, nothing more satisfying than owning the road XD

That's the one I would get! Maybe once the weather breaks and my boat is in the water.

I have the hemi foot only when it's snowing. It's funny to see every car rushing to go foward, and with the truck it's like to be on dry road with good studded winter tire.

The must funny it's when a wannabe truck suv with those crappy awd or even worst a fwd, try to owned you at a red light.

Front lock + lsd rear end + studded tire + hemi = everyone seems super slow in snowstorm :winner_first_h4h:

Since my last oil change ( redline oil, royal purple oil filter and a better air filter) my ram feels stronger now. Every other light I'm just itching to just stomp on the gas petal to hear it roar.

Time to find a thread about some poor sap complaining about gas mileage, then im going to paste the link to this page...lol

I'm falling victim to the Hemi foot pretty regularly. My rear tires are probably not my biggest fan right now.

I love the VR. That thing made quite the difference. I can't wait to pair it with a tuner in the next few months.

I don't know how you do the Cali thing. If someone there paid me $1,000,000/yr to work there. I'd buy a helicopter and fly to work every day before living there, lol. I like to play with guns too much to live there, or the north east for that matter.

I like to give my wife panic attacks when the hemi foot comes out. Lol

My wife does the same thing. So not fun. Told her she has to start riding in the back with her eyes closed. Not like I'm a bad driver either, haven't had an accident in 19 years.

I don't know how I do it either, I almost hate California... I live right by the ocean and the weather is in the mid 70s most of the time, that is about the only nice part.
Business and family is keeping me here for now. But I am looking to make my great escape! :)

Any of the Mufflex kits would change that. I was the same way before I got mine installed. Now I definitely have a Hemi foot:D

Man I've been without my truck for 4 months cause of an accident. I have a DS tuner, Volant Cai and Magnaflow cat back with a Y pipe waiting for when I get it back. I'm definitely going to be doing some hemi footing!

I tell ya, Id have WAY more hemi foot if my city wasn't almost 50% pigs, 100% of which are all traffic nannies.

I mean we pay taxes for them to idle all day and drive like assholes themselves in 400hp hemi chargers, but how dare I drive more than 3omph.
