Ha ha, great thread so far!

Got my S&B CAI installed the day in came in and the weather was a balmy 24 degrees with winds upwards of 30mph.

Woke the truck up again and this tank of gas I had since I installed the S&B has definitely gone quicker then normal. Can't help but punching it to 5k when on the highways and thankfully I don't really get the look when revving the truck up that high or flying past people.

There aren't many stock vehicles that will pull you if your willing.

Funny. My STi would stomp the crap out of my Hemi. My wife's 2.0 WRX would also stomp my Hemi. While the Hemis are quick there are PLENTY of stock vehicles with more get up and go.

Ah yes the infamous "look" from the wife.

I traded in a Mustang GT Convertible plus my previous truck, a Nissan Frontier for my Ram. I needed a bigger truck and with a family and house to take of now, I just didn't have much time for the Mustang anymore. Plus the insurance on the Mustang was obscene. My wife was all proud of me for growing up so to speak.

After I got my Ram I showed her how much power it had. The "look" she gave me was simply priceless.

I get the same look, even though my wife drives a Roush 5XR like she stole it most days...

I always laugh when a "modified" ****** car try to owned me on a red light when it's Snowy. They may beat a yaris with crappy tire, but what they have in mind when they think they can pass a 400 hp 4x4 .

If I was going to race somebody. I sure as hell wouldn't have a boat hooked up. hahaha

These trucks do have some get it and go, might be a little placebo effect with the V8..
But now days, there's a dozen or more 30K sedans that can hang or beat a stock hemi..
Watch out for those toyota camrys.. hahah

pffft my hemi foot SUCKS ... Big double on ramp in minneapolis, My kid and I start going down the two lane ramp and a young girl in a KIA ! yes a KIA starts to hammer down on my right side. I hammer it and she drives right by me like my truck has the brakes on ! MY kid starts laughing and say hahaha you got beat by a kia ! Anyone who thinks these trucks are fast is blinded by kia dust ...

My wife has a 2012 Kia Optima 2.0 Turbo. Its pretty quick, faster than my 2014 Ram. They can run low 14's stock. The newer Kia's are very nice cars for the money.

If it had more height I'm sure it would. At over 360whp and 400tq it could tow a boat pretty easily. Obviously would need suspension work but it has plenty of power along with plenty of stopping power with the big brake kit.

I just find it funny that you guys think these trucks are race cars. They have power and are quick but they can't compare to half the vehicles on the road. I saw someone mentioned a 2.0 turbo Kia. That is a prime example. Those things are bullets and I regularly drive an STi.

I couldn't tell you the name of the motor in any of my several Camry's throughout the years.... I can't tell you the name of the motor in my Wife's Lexus..

Good for you? I'd be worried if you couldn't, I'm not sure a car factory produced to be a racer is what he was referring to, but good for you.

The thing is this apples and oranges. A 6500lb truck with 395hp isnt going to compete with a 3000lb awd car with 300hp. All we're saying is, for a truck, these Hemi Rams are damn fun to drive.

Every rice burner that's pulled along beside me on the highway only got to see the stickers in my back window, that's highway speeds from 60 to ..... Until I dropped my truck and can't drive faster that 60....
I'm going to find out how fast they are as Test and Tune is coming up soon. It's mostly rice burners modded. But everyone can go. Being my first ever trip to the strip I'm not expecting to do super well, but you can bet I'll be reping my Hemifoot proudly.
