Hemi oil temp reading

My oil temp i just noticed has been reading weird last few days. Stuck on 104 now tonight I had no reading just - - -

Conflicting info online about if there is a temp sensor. Looking at the motor it looks like there’s one on side of block by oil filter .

Just weird it doesn’t show on parts lists for this year and model.

Anyone had this issue

It is right there,I have seen it on my 2014.

Yes I’ve seen it to … just weird when you search part it isn’t there . Maybe I bumped it or somthing changing oil

Referred to as fluid temperature sensor, it looks like it works for multiple applications.

crawled under today and found the probe and wire dangling.. the sensor housing still in the block.. so atleast its not leaking.

ill replace it tomorrow
