Hesitates before starting

Before when starting the truck it immediately turned on after turning the ignition key. Now it briefly coughs or chugs a couple times before starting after turning the key on. It has a new battery so am wondering what is happening and if this a problem that will only get worse?

Mine does that too only once in a blue moon and only when using the remote starter (aftermarket). Doesn't seem to be any issue with mine.........

My 2011 1500 started to do this as well. Wondering if it a common thing or not. Glad you posted!

I started to have this issue and replacing the battery solved it for me. While it may test good it's just enough to make it crank more to start
