Hi all,

I am newish to the forum scene (last registered for a forum about 10 years ago) and am trying to figure out this stuff.

I bought a 2014 Ram 1500 3.6L V6 2wd long bed and so far all I've stuck on it is a toolbox.

I am looking for a leveling kit to make it look straight instead of the front end sagging (I believe it's a 2-2.5 inch leveling kit that I would need but correct me if I'm wrong), but most kits I am finding are not compatible with the 2013-2014 RWD models.

I also find the Mopar skid plate (P5155663) to be quite beautiful as well as the front fenders (P5155665) but they are a bit out of my perferred price range, any recommendations on these parts for cheaper?

Also, I've realized in 10 years, the smilies on the right have gotten quite annoying, especially when typing.

Any input would be nice. Thank you.

EDIT:

Also looking for some type of radio com, preferably one that can do both radio and loudspeaker. Any advise?

Thanks

Hi all,

Here is a picture of my truck

Don't mind the purple, I shot a high-powered laser into my camera to see if i can get a picture of it. I did with adverse results.

Welcome to RF! That's a sharp lookin truck!
Be careful with lifting the front much over 2" (with a spacer / longer coil).
You quickly run out of 'droop' in the suspension which leads to other issues you don't want.

Thanks! I was looking to start off with a leveling kit, and looking into the spacers for coils and saw two types, one that goes on top of the coils and one that goes in between. The latter of these two just plain looks like a bad idea, but the latter I don't see an issue unless the front suspension are along the lines of coilovers, which would probably rip apart the strut?

Suspension is not my forte, if you can help to elaborate I would be on my knees in gratitude without hesitation.

Thanks in advance :)

6 months later: added leveling kit + light bar. Custom made flag poles.
