Hi from the Netherlands

Hi Al,

My name is Michiel and i am 24 years old and i am from the Netherlands.
I like Quad sport and got some quads.
1 GasGas 300 HP wild. Will get a license plated to drive it on the street.
1 Yamaha Warrior rebuilt with YFZ look fenders. ( License plated)
1 Yamaha blaster still in build. ( License Plated )

I had a VW caddy to transport the Quads but when you need to park in a corn field its not funny with a lowered caddy

Begin this year i was looking for a real Truck in the Netherlands but prices are high here and there is not much choice. My girlfriend has friends living in Canada and we asked if they would like to ship a Truck for us. And they did.

After searching autotrader for a while they were going to look for a dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi 4x4 SLT.

It was running nice but could use some paint repair.

It take about 2 months from take a test drive until it arrived in the Netherlands.

Here it is.

Unfortunately with transport the roof got damaged in Canada. I didnt saw it at Picking it up from the vessels port. So the insurance wont cover it. ( yes just stupid of me but we had a flat battery and it wouldnt start with power lines)

That was 2 months ago. And now i am waiting on my license plate. So still didnt drive in it. I have to wait 1 or 2 weeks until it arrives

Now i am looking for some nice things to add on the dodge ram.
Like new seat cover, Chrome Rims etc

This week i will get the license card and then i have to order the license plated.
So next week I will finally drive it

Well the horses did need some food.
So we went to the farm some miles from here.

But here a update for the truck.
All old stuff that needs to come out

I did get some help from a friend to get everything out.
and put the front seets and console in it.

The interier is from a Dodge ram 1500 Sport Crew cab,
So i needed to ajust the backseat rails to fit in the quad cab.

Getting the dasboard out.

New in

Still need to change the steering wheel. i am still waiting for it.
The front doorpanels are already changed, but the the doorpanels behind de front row wont fit. So i need to paint them black.

Welcome from Florida. That's a nice ram, my friend from Koln, Germany told me these trucks are a dime a dozen (not many) in Koln. So I can imagine that's a head turner in the Netherlands.
