Hid headlights ?? Help :(!

Hi I'm new to this hid setup for headlights so bare with me! I have a 2013 dodge ram 1500 slt... I bought these spyder headlights .. H1 bulb for projector and h11 for high beam I'm pretty sure... Just google spyder headlights dodge ram headlights to clarify it... But yeah I don't know what I should do or where I should buy it? Ebay has a bunch with a decent price? And apparently dodges need some other part for hids?? Not sure what is it... Please help I'm such a noob!

Jj will chime in real soon but I'd check out his site shop.retroshop.us if I remember right or just go to the vendor section until you see retro shop. I don't believe the spyder headlight projectors are designed for HID'S I think they are halogen projectors. You can stick HID'S in them, just not designed for them.

Retroshop sells harnesses, ballast and bulbs. Depending on year/trim level there are some different parts. Ebay will sell kits, there are members on other forums using ebay kits. Ram's have a canbus light system, makes them a bit more complicated than just ballast and bulbs. Although theyre are canbus HID ballasts now.

Don't waste your money unless you have more dollars than sense.
You will be back asking how to fix those damn things within a year.

You need this kit - 2013+ Dodge Ram HIDs

check the box that says "for MH1 projectors" - basically tells me to put a H1 bulb in the box.

That will come with everything you need.

I'm adding this to my wish list. Are the 55watt bulbs to hot for this MH1 setup?

I have had 1 projector fail over 3 years and hundreds of sets ........ 50-55W diesn't seem to be an impact with the HIDs we use. I can't speak to other brands though.
