I'm planning to upgrade my 2017 Laramie 1500 headlights to HID. I haven't seen anyone complain about this issue, but I am checking to see if an HID upgrade has caused any radio interference issues.

I ask this because I tried an HID upgrade in my previous car - a 2015 Ford Fusion Energi - and it screwed up the radio so badly that I had to remove it. Headlights on, even with a strong FM signal I had lots of static. If I was in a weak FM signal area it was completely static. But as soon as I turned the headlights off - all was good. I tried wrapping the ballast in aluminum, ferrite coils, grounding all to no avail. Luckily I was able to remove them and send them back.

But anyway, I don't want to go thru the hassle of taking everything apart only to have to do it again because the headlights screwed up my radio

I haven't heard any issues with the HID lights, but there are some issues with the OPT7 LED bulbs causing interference. Hit up Retroshop on here and he can get you hooked up with a nice set up for headlights. All kinds of options. Since you have the projectors already, HID's are your best bet.
