I can't believe hids can cause all these problems but since they're off now I think it might be the sensors themselves since its still not working and thanks for the offer but I'm in Houston lol

I have CheapBay Xentec Hids and I dont have the problem. I traded my stock 20's a while back. And forgot to get my TPMS sensors out and the light has been on ever since. Luckily, the guy is a friend, and we got them switched yesterday. So far so good, the light went back off.

I'm thinking the hids might be stock I just looked at my truck and on the drivers door it says hid headlights along with some other stuff the truck has from factory but the thing is when I picked up the truck it did not have hids in the headlights and the fog light hids look like they were really well put in the ballast is even glued or something to the truck in a good spot but I guess I'll see what happens when I take it back to the dealer with stock lights on

My step dads truck says that also. But I'm almost certain it's not really hids.

HID's are not stock. On any ram. They prolly use that same sticker on the Chally and it has an HID option.

I Have a 5.7 2 door Ram Sport, put on some VVME 6k HIDs low beam and fogs, had them installed then once I turned on the truck the TPMS light turned on and my low beams would turn off an on. Found out that the Relay Harness needs to be connected to a light bulb so that the sensor detects that there is in fact a headlight connected. After doing a custom and connecting a small light bulb, this stopped the flickering and the tpms light turned off. Maybe your problem has to do with the relay harness. Try it out.

Well took the truck to discount tire today real quick and had a tpms reset since I called the dealer and they said I needed to get that done well they tried it normal and they couldn't get it so they connected their machine to the obd2 port and reset it but still couldn't get the numbers to show up. All of the sensors read but it only shows little lines on the dash. They told me to drive it around a while that it might take a while but that it usually shows up right away. I don't know what to think anymore since everything so far does not work I guess after driving it for a while and it didn't reset I'll have to take it back to the dealer and see what they can do

Hello I'm new to the forum here. I am having the same problem with my TPMS, it is saying to service it in my EVIC. I have hids from JJ in my fogs and I bought Spyder ccfl headlights and the shop that installed them put their hids in for the head lights. I have been driving about a week or so and the TPMS light would pop on only for about a second or two and go off but the other night it stayed on and now it's on 24/7. I took it to discount tire and they couldn't reset it for some reason so idk what to do. Thanks in advance.

mine got fixed at the dealer it was the tpms module that was the problem the dealer tried to bs me about it blaming the lights but when my truck started dying overnight or at random times of the day i knew something else was wrong so they finally fixed it after threatening on voiding my warranty and me demanding them to prove that the hid lights where the problem but anyways your problem is weird also because the light coming on for a second is normal but staying on well that might point to the same problem i had?
