Hood seal

Ive noticed some rams have a front rubber seal between hood and grill. Mine does not have it? But appears to have holes for something on underside of hood front.

Anyone got any info on this.

This would be a seal that sandwiches between hood a grill when hood is closed

Some of those bugshield things people buy, require that you remove the seal.. Maybe if you bought used, the dealership removed it so they could actually sell the truck.

If its new, maybe it was left out?

Mines missing then and yes would like it. I noticed road salt spray back on inside of hood last year. Was wondering if the 11 did not have it?

my 2011 did't have it and I bought mine brand new. I don't have one on my new hood either. Most of the road crap comes up from the fender liners or from the sides of the rad.

mine has it ,could it be because with 8sp you get grill shutters ?
