I agree totally-my Bighorn has a Big horn- and it takes a hell of alot pressure for it to sound and when it does it is loud and long. You cant just tell someone infront of you to move along-its always a long freight-train blast!! And then its embarrassing -its like"I wasnt that pissed off-just telling you the light is green" and forget about saying bye-bye to friends with a toot-toot!---Its a blahhhhh!!!! so loud it wakes their neighbours. I thought i was the only one who noticed this-I dont even use it anymore.

I had been avoiding using the horn for the same reason, but because of this thread I experimented and found out that if you just push on the side and let up real quick there's a delay but it'll just sound real fast. If you hold it down until you hear a sound, it's going to make a longer honk for the duration of the time you hold it down. Frankly I don't know why they can't just put a couple buttons on that front piece and make it much easier.

Some vehicles have a horn that sounds by just squeezing the wheel-forget which it was -seems like a great idea-unless your a nervous driver--then you probably shouldnt drive anyway. It still sounds like a great idea and you wouldnt have to take your hands off at all. Until then I will bite my lip before I use my time/delayed -hard to press-freight train piece of crap horn.
