Geno's Garage wants $130 for these 5th gen Mopar fuel filters, along with an oil filter. I buy 2 oil change services at a time, at $130 each. Can one purchase just the 2 fuel filters--Fleetguard ones?

The Dealership wants over $300 for a fuel filter change.

I got both for $119.95 from dieselfiltersonline.com. Dealership wants $139 to install them, so about $259 total. I think I saved almost $100 by buying the filters myself. I watched how to change them, but I don't have the tools and so it's best I take them up on the $139.

Why not invest in these tools only $15.95 for the socket $14.95 Dogbone wrench at Genos Garage.

Thank you. They are both 28mm. Why would I need both?

like most things. it seems like once you do it it gets easier after the first time. many vids. I am about to do mine for the first time soon. got Doc's filters (hope they work out well) but I have to change mine more often than usual due to miles I drive.

ive heard a plastic bag over the rear filter to help spillage. will be trying next change. but I still plan on it getting messy for my first one.
