How do I remove my puddle lights?

I want to tint the clear lenses of the puddle lights...how do I remove them?

Well, I didn't take them out, it just seemed more trouble than needed.

I taped off the mirror and threw blankets over the rest of the truck and spayed them on the truck. I taped off the areas the white LEDs shine down so they'll still serve their purpose.

I did 2 layers of Nightshades and am happy with the results so far. It's drying now in the garage...I'll try to get some pics posted soon.

Keep that info though.... if you notice any moisture in there at all take them apart and seal them again my passenger side went out and u have to buy the whole mirror to replace the puddle light

Yeah, is there replacement puddle lamps like they have for the towing mirrors?

So like I said, I did 2 coats of VHT Nightshades and am pretty happy with it. It definitely accomplished my desired result of making the clear lense disappear and blend into the black mirror.

If I had to do it again, I'd probably do one coat so that the lights were a bit more noticeable during the day, though it's not like these lights are the primary turn signals.

Doing this without taking the lenses out was super easy. I just taped off the mirror and then threw blankets over the side of the truck. I also taped off the area used by the white LEDs for shining down on the ground. They are just as bright as before and you can see them in the video link at the bottom.
