The cleaning process and products used is the most underrated item in trim restoration - looks brand new!

That looks fantastic. I'm gonna check this stuff out for sure
Get the Motsenbockers lift off graffiti remover. I use the Black CG microfiber towels for my junker towels for stuff like that. Spray it on the towel and agitate the heck out of it. Then wipe it dry to make it look uniform and let it completely dry. I would suggest getting a bottle of Carpro Ech02 to clean up anything you might get it on. Wheels, Paint, Glass, ETC. Then you can either Get one of two things to put on it. I usually go with Clutch as it is my final product used on the paint and it can be used on everything.

Good job.

Another tip is to use an adhesion promoter HERE, to 'soften' the plastic a little prior to the trim black.

Looks great:waytogo:

Note: The heat-gun-trick makes plastic look good ...for about 2 whole weeks. It's almost not good use of yer time to do it. Eventually you gotta repaint if you want it to look real nice again. And the paint will help protect the plastic from UV damage too.

My flex did it on the back bumper only and I just did it to it and it did the same thing. I truly believe most of the “fade” is really dirt. Yes as it gets the years on it it will fade, but I would always start by trying that first.
