Just curious. I got alot of build up and would like to rid my bay of it. Is there anything I can use that is ok for electrical and rubber and everything else? Just read a subaru wrx forum talking about using simple green on everything with no issues. Whats your .02?

Gunk or similar. Pressure wash with a spray pattern -not a high pressure stream. Some areas might require detailing with hand brushes, soapy water and/or solvents.

I've never found one product the does it all with one simple application. For me, it's been an ongoing task to get the engine compartment clean...

Coming from the Audi world with lots of electrical connections and such under the hood, I always steamed the bay. Places do it, or you can do it yourself.
