How I solved my Air Suspension Problem

So I have replaced the compressor, valve block and all four corners. Everything was good for a couple of days and when I parked in my office parking lot the entire front end was all the way down. The back was good and not sagging. Don't know if mechanic didn't put the connections right on the top struts or there is a leak in the line. Also, has anyone used the TRQ front Air struts on theirs?

I used TRQ's on the rear. I compared them with the OEM and the really only obvious difference i could was the dust cover was thinner. Installed in minutes and vacuumed and charged the system back up with Nitrogen and i cant believe how nice the ride is now. Im seriously in shock each time I drive it. Like a Cadillac. Also TRQ have a lifetime replacement warranty, so for that it is completely worth getting them.

I finally broke down and sent truck to the dealership for a better diagnosis. I have been battling codes and mostly rear sinking, kind of thought compressor and valve block. In reading through these posts, I tried a capful of Airbrake antifreeze/lubricant. It made things better, but still had to send to the stealership(another story). Turned out to be rear springs. Yes, expensive but love the air ride. New rear springs, system is working better than it has in a while. I will add some airbrake antifreeze as it gets closer to winter.

Thank you so much for the awesome write up! I had the exact same problem and a new valve block solved it- found a new one on Amazon for $50. Also wanted to add- my Harbor Freight tire inflator screwed right into the low-side AC fitting off of a manifold set, from HF as well. Thanks again!

Ok so I have a 2015 Rebel 1500 and my suspension was going good till this past weekend 2/18 to be exact when I helped my brother move. It now sits on the bump stops at all 4 corners and absolutely rides like a milk crate. View attachment 537977I got an error message “Service Electronic Braking System” along with “Service Air Suspension System” I found out that I had a fuse out on my SBW/TCASE SW. not sure what caused it to blow but I replaced that thinking it would fix the issues but it did not. I took it to AutoZone and had them run the code reader and it came up with a bad Steering Angle Position Sensor. Anyone have any insight on it?

Having had a recent issue with mine, I suggest that you download the AlfaOBD program since it can look into your suspension system. You can scan the system to make sure that your reservoir is full, if the pump circuit is working and the valve system is working. You can inflate and deflate individual shocks to look for leaks and to reset the levels. Pull the passenger rear tire and wheel liner off the heart of the air suspension system is right there. There are many videos on repair and diagnosing issues. I found that if you just get the Alfa-OBD app and you will need the Bluetooth OBD connector as well, I was able to basically exercise (as in worked it out up and down a few times kind of like physical therapy) mine back into working order.
